Well that could certainly have an impact... Although I bet 90+% of their sales is non-government drones not affected by any US government restrictions. I did look them up and they weren't there last year either. This is too bad, it was the only way to give them direct feedback to a real person.

Has anyone seen or heard if DJI is going to the CES show this year? In the past they were a major player and the biggest drone booth there. I do not see them on the vendor list?? Perhaps they are now going to "drone only" industry shows? Anyone have any info?

They had a promo video and I think it covered that, but cannot remember. I am sure it's on their site.

With FLIR sensors you generally get what you pay for. IMO get the highest resolution you can possibly afford. I cannot see the res on the Boson but the Lepton with a res of 160 x 120 in my opinion will be disappointing at anything more than a hundred feet away or so if the hot spot is less than...

Looks interesting and the camera looks to be up there with the Inspire offerings at a pretty good price point. I personally won't be interested in anything that does not fold up into a smaller package, but this will most likely have appeal to those specifically for making higher end video.

IMO, the new best bang for the buck will be the new Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. At $2500 less than the Autel Evo 2 Dual Thermal (which I returned after a dozen flights) the M2EA will be hard to beat. The only thing that the Autel has over the DJI is no geofencing - not that I go flying without...
