Got this email from FAA safety today and thought about the novelty of it. I can't remember seeing an AD issued before on a consumer drone or accessory. Interesting!

New AD for Certain MARS A.S. Emergency Parachutes
Notice Number: NOTC2278

On February 25, 2022, the FAA issued Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2022-05-09 for certain MARS A.S. emergency parachutes. This AD results from the length of the ripcord between the pins being too long, which could cause a malfunction of the emergency parachute. This AD requires removing emergency parachutes with certain manufacture dates or serial numbers from service. The AD is published at the link below:
