I have yet to use LAANC but need to for an upcoming Gig. All of the information I'm finding tells me to download kittyhawk or an equivalent service. Is there a way to fill out a form online?

It is done electronically no matter which service you use. If you register with Skyward, the LAANC request is done online and then you get to download/print a physical authorization certificate. I use it over the others. It's easy and generally works better for me than AIrMap through the app.
