Between 2019/20, there were over 350,000 calls relating to missing persons across England and Wales.

With a large amount of Police, Fire and Search & Rescue organisations now adopting drones, we are seeing the technology being utilised to help rescue missing persons.

According to stats provided by DJI, at least 750 people have been rescued directly due to the use of drone technology, with actual numbers expected to be in the high thousands.

I'm not sure how many criminals have been caught in the USA but just the other day the local police were trying to pull over a car for a crime they committed (innocent until proven guilty) he fled the vehicle so they used a drone with flir to find him.
