PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT | EVO II Dual 640T (Radiometric)

I spoke to a dealer a couple weeks ago about that. The answer is "yes but...." This is not a FLIR sensor. It's a Chinese sensor but they do have their own software that does the same as FLIR's. So post analysis of pictures is possible.

Looking for a high nit phone or tablet, any suggestions? good battery life as well?

Tripltek just told me to modify a USB cable with a 20ohm resistor in the -5v wire (black) and that will stop the charging.

Looking for a high nit phone or tablet, any suggestions? good battery life as well?

I usually connect my tablet to the USB-A (large) connection, and when needed I plug a 10000 mah power bank into the micro USB to keep it charged up. It does seem that the tripltek I just bought drains the rc faster than my Tab S6. There are some apps that will limit charging but they require...

any opinions/experience with Autel Evo II or Parrot ANAFI--for mapping missions?

I fly the EVO II and love it. Mapping is great, 8k camera with good digital zoom and stable. It outflies my P4P and Mavic 2ED in windy conditions, and the obstacle avoidance is nearly flawless. Batteries are bit pricey but they last almost 40 mins...so better for longer missions.

No Warrant; No Drone Footage in Court

There's too much deep thinking going into this. Unless you're acting on behalf of "the state" you only need to be worried about civil privacy matters. Here's a good rule of thumb that applies to "states interest" and civil privacy: If it a warrant was needed to peek over someone's fence, then...

PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT | EVO II Dual 640T (Radiometric)

Any idea what the stand alone payload might run? I already have the bird.

Autonomous flying software: what do you use?

I am setting up my P4P on Litchi for waypoint flying, plus the Dronebase mapping licence only. My Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual and Evo 2 both have mapping functions in their apps that work pretty well.

    Shoreline erosion

Sorry...I didn't get a notification about the question. I mostly use WebODM, but I have also used VisualSFM as well. I will be hosting WebODM on a server so that the models are easier to share.

    Shoreline erosion

I have been taking an interest in shoreline erosion on the Great Lakes, in particular Lake Erie....mostly because thats where I live. And i think I'm getting better and better at 3d modeling of the erosion. Since I can't show the actual 3d model on this site I'll link to my specific page...

It's for our neighborhood association. We own a stretch of private beach on Lake Erie. I can usually fly it with one battery, but the processing takes a few hours. Then you have to fly it again a few months or a year later to do a comparison. That takes more processing. I'm still experimenting...

    Ontario Canada here

One that I am following is about 1200' long. It takes almost 400 pictures to make a 3d point cloud of it.

New to the forum but not new to UAVs. I have been building quads for several years and moved to DJI Mavics a couple years ago. I recently added a Mavic 2ED and am looking forward to putting it good use. I fully understand its limitations, and if there is a larger demand for higher res thermal...
