Finally regained White Balance control, hallelujah. Can't believe how much arguing with DJI it took, but it worked. The low light optimization for waypoint missions could be helpful here in the PNW as well.

Isn't it interesting that when a Chinese company clones a device, the price drops, usually exponentially. When a US outfit clones a device, the price increases exponentially.

Interestingly, here in rural Washington, I used to get approached all the time, from 2015 through about 2020, by "concerned" citizens . Now, not so much. It seems like a lot more people realize that drones are just tools like anything else. Maybe I've just been lucky.

I would be surprised if DJI replaces shutters. Maybe the whole camera. If a shutter/camera lasts 200,000 images, the drone has far more than paid for itself. Unless you are not using it as a business tool. (my opinion)

For sure. Counties themselves serve up property line grids on their website. They are not accurate of course, and you don't see the survey boards going after the counties for providing the general info. Uniformed public can print out one of those and call it good. No drone operator needed...

Absolutely. And rightfully so. On the other hand, you have state survey boards in some locals getting all bent out of shape when some drone operator provides an orthorectified photograph with the disclaimer that it is not accurate to any standard and is only useful for visual reference. Yet...

Hey Andy, I'm not sure what you mean by "if I am limited to". If you are talking about receiving RTK corrections from a CORS network, they typically broadcast at 1Hz (once per second).

Do yourself a favor and get an Emlid RS2+ instead of the D-RTK 2.
