    Firmware updates

Anyone willing to comment on the database updates separately from the actual firmware and DJI Go 4?

    Firmware updates

I'd like to kind of piggy-back something here. Firmware updates have mostly been covered, but what about the DJI Precise Fly Safe Database? I recall reading that a lot of times it ends up limiting where you can fly (or even launch from) once you get close to certain boundaries/borders of...

    Flying over 400 ft AGL

In the dam scenario as long as you are within 400 ft horizontally from it, then you can be up to 400 ft over the high point. If you have to back up more than 400 ft to get the photo you want, then technically it isn't following the rules if you are 850ft above the water.

More TX Pilots Needed for Telecom - Also Other States for Telecom, Power, Golf and Mapping

Seems good to me, and I don't mind the long detailed answers (I am pretty much the same way!).

More TX Pilots Needed for Telecom - Also Other States for Telecom, Power, Golf and Mapping

I had a similar thought cross my mind in terms of the paying for training by taking a cut from each project payment. Maybe it’s half upfront or some minimum and then the rest gets taken along the way. If no work is available maybe FDS actually forgives the remainder due after some time. I’d...

Are pilots paid by you? So the company pays you a higher fee so that you get a cut and then you turn around and pay the pilot, or how is your fee factored in? Is payment per job, week, month, or when?

Is there much need for East Texas? I am a 107 certified P4P owner living in Longview, TX and might consider looking into this further if my immediate area has a need and doesn't have many pilots lined up.

    FAA Suspending 107 Testing?!?

So it's back up and running i take it!

    FAA Suspending 107 Testing?!?

Interesting because the center is an aviation college or similar and ran by a college employee I would think that is the proctor so not a federal employee. I suppose the test itself or access to something there counts though... I could see IACRA or a portion post-exam being suspended for sure...

    FAA Suspending 107 Testing?!?

We found this odd today and it might be our local testing center and not the FAA as a whole, but my day job is working for a city in Texas and our Fire Marshall was signed up to finally take his 107 test this Thursday. Well he got a voicemail that basically said, sorry, but the FAA has suspended...

    Real Estate Photography

That makes sense and sums it up pretty well, thanks for sharing. So now the only issue would be if actual damage occurred after the listing photos were taken. Either they need to believe you or you maybe need to update the photos as soon as possible. Then again your example is a bit more...

    Real Estate Photography

Is there a rule among Realtors or maybe just a best practice that involves no editing of photos? I spoke with one Realtor and she made it sound like you HAVE to keep the photo raw and as is from the camera, you cant even adjust the simple things like white balance and contrast a bit. I can for...

You must be in a big city or on the coast or something... I wouldn't buy one, but I'd have houses under $100,000 in my current city and in previous cities that I have lived in. Typically they would be super old and outdated, in need of work, small like 1400 sq ft or less, etc. Now for sure I...
