    MAV Drone setup question

Is it correct to say the 20,000 maH is the battery rating on total current draw capacity? As the motor voltage goes up the current draw goes down for the given load. The series connected batteries would increase voltage but amount of current draw would be reduced so the maH of the battery would...

Warehouse rooftop flown with Pix4dCapture - BVLOS

Sometimes , access to the roof is limited. We use observers(s) standing back far enough to be able to have LOS.

    Building Construction Progression Videos HELP...

I cant determine from the photo but it does appear that the sizes of the items vary, meaning you may be closer to some objects in one of the shots. That makes it difficult to match the shots unless the camera is pointed in exactly the same direction from the same exact location and tilt is...

How fast do you fly for video shots?

Mostly yes. Some factors may include the edit software, codec and how it's setup, the shot. So on turns or static yaws mostlikely you will see the difference. On straight flights you may not. Try a little test. Try both st8 and turns.Fly a specific distance with objects both on the sides and in...

How fast do you fly for video shots?

As Al said , we are just raising the bar , being self critical usually ends with better results. For that job, your speed seems fine. Smooth movement is MUCH more important. On st8 movement the speed won't affect the image much.In fact the artifacts on forward/backward movements at speed can be...

How fast do you fly for video shots?

Can speed up in post with no degradation, eg. motion blur. Slowing down in post may induce a number of issues. Like BigAl says smooth is more critical than the speed.

    Another question - Transitions

Wow, excellent good job. When I said POI ,I wasn't thinking Litchi. I fly them all manually as I can control the yaw rate and position. I call it a POI only as it changes focus to single on screen target, say at the end of a dolly. Well good luck with the art of editing.

So the good stuff. The shot from about :15 to :35 the dolly with a POI at the end. The reveal from :38 to :49 showing building in good light( not shadow side) The dolly :51 to 1:03 The dolly from 1:15 to 1:30 Yaw at 1:42 to 1:52 Pullout and yaw at 1:57 to 2:00 In and yaw at 2:08 to 2:16 POI at...

    Another question - Transitions

Looking good. Seems your improving! What MapMaker said. A few things that would be easy to try to see what you think. I see at the start a camera yaw Opening on a pan might look better, I would cut 2 sec off the start. -as MM said at 1:33 ,camera rough motion, I would cut 1:28 to 1:36 as...

    Another question - Transitions

I should clarify what I said, as I have used various transitions such as crossfades, fade to black and up again, once in while PIP (picture in picture), split sceen and others. Depending on what your shooting and editing for. I used to produce and direct a music show and during performance use...
