If you are a member of AOPA (which includes a drone membership), see if they will get involved in stopping this. They have been very effective in preventing price gouging on fuel and FBO charges and in keeping airports open.

When I fly my Piper Warrior on long trips, I will usually have a heat issue with an IPad but I always carry a backup IPad and put the overheated one near an air vent. It is usually ready to go again in 5 minutes or so. Keeping the brightness level down helps a lot.

One of our local community colleges has a course in as part of their Drone certificate program. So check the local colleges in your area. I plan on taking the course but they are filling up almost as soon as they are announced.
