    Any luck with a LAANC on Appalachian Trail?

    Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't been aware of it. The B4YOUFLY app shows the entire trail from Georgia to Maine as off limits. There are other similar Restricted Operations areas for the Blue Ridge Parkway and the C&O Canal Historical Park.

    No error message. But wouldn't the orientation indicated by the compass be in error? That is, can't the pilot see that there's an issue if they aim the drone in a known direction and don't see the same orientation indicated by the compass?
