    Dealership recommendations in Maryland.

There are no commercial drone sales businesses here in Maryland that I'm aware of. I deal with folks up in NJ or SC. Your best bet is to make contact with some of the drone mapping businesses and see if you can tag along and shadow them as they do assignments throughout the state.

I was offered the option of using one of the projects the instructor had. We finished early, and I had several hours left on the last day, so I went ahead did my project right there at the end of class. Contact your instructor to see if you can download of his projects to get this out of the...

    There is justice.

Well said! We have to educate prospects and clients, and sometimes that's the hardest part.

    Level I sUAS Thermography Certified

I did the course back in November out in PHX. I found it extremely useful, because you go through the basic concepts of heat transfer, how the cameras work and some basic heat conduction principles. If you have a background in electronics, are comfortable already using cameras and analyzing the...

Doh!!!! Welp, just another opportunity to practice. o_O Thanks for the detailed explanations. This is really interesting. In about 8 - 10 years, this kind of thing is going to be routine.

I own the same rig, and would love to hear more about battery drain, handling characteristics and the view from the ST16 controller. Thanks for sharing!

Your problems in thermography with drones

I did the Level 1 sUAS Thermography course back in November from the Infrared Training Center listed above, and while it's pricey, I can tell you that it's worth the money. I'm just now getting going on things, but if you're like me, and you've never done thermal imaging, it's a good investment.

DJI GEO 2.0 - now new problems

Yep, here where I live they've overstepped the boundaries of a small, non-controlled airport just over 5 miles away. Now I have to go far south or east to fly. And yet, they completely ignore a small non-controlled airport that is extremely active with two flight schools just 10 miles away. Go...

    Level I sUAS Thermography Certified

I did the training through FLIR's ITC company. Infrared Training Center Cost is $1995 USD. There are a bunch of free thermography information courses you can take. I ended up getting a 15% discount coupon, which is what finally pushed me to register and go. I highly recommend it, because...

    Level I sUAS Thermography Certified

I passed the Level I sUAS Thermography course today. It was fairly easy. If you have a background in electricity/electronics like I do, it's a piece of cake. Getting certifications adds credibility for getting better jobs. I'm looking forward to moving on to see where this will take me.

    Anyone Good With Twitter?

Google does not use social signals as a direct ranking factor. There are over 500 ranking factors in Google's algorithm; very few of them have been confirmed. Social signals seem - I emphasize seem - to be an indirect ranking influence. Social media may be - I emphasize may be - good for...

Going To IRT's sUAS Level I Thermography Course.

I'm going to the sUAS Level I thermography certification course in Arizona next month. Anybody here who has done it? If so, what's your opinion? It can't hurt to be certified, and I need the knowledge.

Apps for Electronic Invoicing and Payments

If you do business with companies that have state or federal contracts, they're regulated by federal/state laws and contracts that state certain accounting processes have to be in place for accounts receivable/payable, and PP is not an authorized payment processing platform.
