Kind of what I was thinking....I venture over stare lines also. The sites that proclaim “Comprehensive UAS laws” are only as good as when they were last updated. ... And 2 years it a long time UAS time.

An engineering consulting firm representative I talked with last week said that their best LIDAR package cost them $175k Custom built. Bigger than M600. But they got a ROI in 6 months. $300/acre is what they get. Seems like a nice target. Got to be some smaller chunks the rest of us can get.

Encouraging projections. And a great testimony to the learning curve we all going through or preparing to go through. Just as a discussion tangent...where do you think LIDAR fits in this? Some of the equipment cost seem to be coming down...as are the weights.

I’ve looked that way....resources become a LIMFAC real quick. Looked a senseFly ebee. Great loiter time, but not sure it has the overall flexibility I need at this point.

I was kind of leaning that way. Was thinking the p4 advanced might even be the best fit...I don’t really need the collision avoidance warnings (or annoying sounds if you will) when in close. Any thoughts on that? Range/flight time might be even slightly better.
