Free or cheap PPK software for Phantom 4 pro RTK

I've been talking with GeoCue as well. Just to clarify, their PPK processing software is about $2500. They have an "all in" suite that includes the imagery post-processing software and other tools. But for just re-mapping the exif data in the photos to the corrected location from the survey...

    Airline travel with TB55 batteries

Shipping is an idea we have considered, but may not be viable for the kind of work and travel we do. I may need to give you a call just to pick your brain and hear your thoughts on the testing you have done.

    Airline travel with TB55 batteries

I have been looking for manufacturers outside of DJI, but for what we are wanting to do with drones, there doesn't seem to be many options available. The closest we've found is Microdrones, but those get very expensive. But even those don't give us the options we're looking for, the main one...

    Airline travel with TB55 batteries

I commented on a recent thread in the Inspire forum (Matrice 200 subforum) about DJI's decision to only support TB55 batteries on the new Matrice 200 series v2. Has anyone had any experience traveling via airlines in the continental US with multiple sets of TB55 batteries? From all the...

Do mapping missions HAVE to be done autonomously?

If you don’t mind me asking, what camera did you get with the 210 RTK v2, and what software do you plan to use for data collection and post processing? I’m researching drones for mapping (eventually survey grade) and was initially planning to go with a 210 because of its more robust platform...

    Energy Related Conferences

While its not directly drone-related, ESRI (who makes the ArcGIS software) hosts their Petroleum GIS Conference in Houston every May. Again, its not directly drone-related, but they have been covering more topics related to UAV use in the oil and gas industries, especially how they are used in GIS.

FAA Part 107 testing suspended effective today (12/26/2018) due to Gov't Shutdown

I was also able to associate my exam with my application, and then submit my application, but it said it would be seven days before my airman certificate would be available. It also said I would receive an email once the certificate is available.

FAA Part 107 testing suspended effective today (12/26/2018) due to Gov't Shutdown

Apparently, there's a group at the FAA that imports exams into the IACRA system. I am in the same situation as you. I passed my exam on 1/4, but cannot complete the IACRA application. I emailed IT support as shown on the IACRA page, and they confirmed that the group that imports the exams is...

DJI Phantom 4 RTK with D-RTK 2 mobile station

Many thanks for that link! I am also looking into PPK options. We're not necessarily looking for survey-grade accuracy to be reported. Our main goals are to create 3D point clouds that can be tied into ground-based 3D scans, and to provide georeferenced aerial imagery for general mapping...

DJI Phantom 4 RTK with D-RTK 2 mobile station

Hello everyone. I'm researching drone platforms for mapping, and my company is considering a Phantom 4 RTK, with the D-RTK 2 mobile station. I'm trying to get an important question answered, but haven't been able to so far. If I have the D-RTK 2 mobile station, does it require a previously...

Creating site plans- Anyone know what software was used to create this?

Looking at the legend and border text, that looks like it is mostly likely an ArcGIS map. ESRI software is not cheap though. There are other GIS mapping solutions that are much cheaper (Global Mapper) or even free (QGIS). If you aren't familiar with these products, or GIS concepts in general...
