UK Regulations - amending PfCO (night flying/reducing 50 metre rule

Folks, Many thanks for your comments and advice above. I think night operations will be the 1st stage and I will consider and application for reduced safety distance another time.

UK Regulations - amending PfCO (night flying/reducing 50 metre rule

My PfCO is coming up for renewal and I am considering applying for permission for night flying and possibly asking for a reduction in the 50 metre safety rule. I understand that both have to be covered in my Operations Manual with a clear and detailed 'Safety Case' covering the changes. Night...

    Use in estate agency

Nick, The topic is not really "Use in Estate Agency" (which is something I would be interested in). Your looking for advice regarding a competent training company? That said, I wish you well with your endeavours

    Hello from West Sussex, England

It's good to see your business is picking up through Surveyors and the Construction industry. A new enquiry every day is excellent. How have you marketed your services to these business sectors? More than happy to contact you via your website to discuss

    UK PFCO Discussion and Help

    UK PFCO Discussion and Help

I trained with EUROUSC. I found them very professional during my training and very supportive afterwards - no question remained unanswered. I’m not sure what happened. I think they lost their training license.

Educating potential clients, increased competition and unlicensed operators are the main issues. I’ve spoken to the CAA and my local Police force about unlicensed...

    Just saying hello from Scotland!

Welcome Kenneth, I think I beat you by 10 minutes. It’s just the same down here in Dorset, lots of unlicensed operators. I find estate agents the worst. You will find aerial shots in the local press helping to market property, but the estate agent will rarely tell you who took the photos.

    Greetings from Herefordshire (UK)

As you mention, you share your county with “the Hereford Hooligans”. Perhaps they could lend you some of their covert gear, then you could fly anonymously.

Hello from Dorset on England’s beautiful south coast

I’ve been flying for 4 years and licensed for 3. Getting regular work in the area is difficult as the number of licensed operators increases. This, combined with a number of unlicensed and uninsured operators makes for a frustrating time. It would be great to here from fellow (licensed) UK...
