    Down with some FPV's

Yeah, that seems to be about right for an H. Anything over 10 though seems to tank my battery life.

and I was not impressed by the H520 either. If what they say is true about the H+, it would be quite useful for extended shots and higher winds. Right now just about everyone I talk to maxes at 15mph winds. We'll see if the H+ stays true to their claims, but 6 rotors and stability in wind was...

    Down with some FPV's

After watching those FPV's, I was a little more disappointed in the latency. I have gotten used to it, and understand the reasoning behind it for higher end drones. Have you noticed any difference in ND filters from different manufacturers? I use a filter kit from Ultimaxx, which includes a...

    Greetings from Colorado

Hello FLYBOYJ. Looks like we have quite the showing from Colorado. I'm in the Springs, how about you?

    Down with some FPV's

Thank you for the advice. I do have ND filters now, but I didn't then. And yes, I was changing antenna types, but the angle to the drone wasn't the only problem. I found out one of the wires was bad, which was giving me inconsistent video to the controller and one of the Typhoon's biggest...

    Another Hello from Colorado

There are a number of sites where you can learn everything required. I personally used FAA Drone Certification Test Prep | Drone Pilot Ground School. It is slightly more expensive than the one you quoted, but I was very happy with their instruction and aced the exam.

    Down with some FPV's

I spent some time with an FPV group here in Colorado Springs. Its rather difficult to keep up video with these little speedsters. I was using my standard equipment, a Yuneec Typhoon H, but for this shoot I had just changed to a new antenna (which I found to have issues, which is why there were...

    Hello from Colorado

Hi there Joe. Have you already jumped into a drone purchase and looking to proceed that way, or are you looking for those already in the area? Looking at your pic, it looks like Garden of the Gods, so I'd love to have a chat as I am here in the Springs.

    Another Hello from Colorado

Hello CDP members. I just started a new aerial videography company here in Colorado Springs, CO. I am available for services throughout the entire state and have already completed my Part 107. Since I am fairly new to the industry, I would love to hear what type of services everyone offers...
