Drop device for M600

Looking for a cheap simple dropping mechanism for the M600. Key word is cheap, I've seen the expensive systems. Can't figure out why no one has developed a Stork-like device yet.
My FD buddies say they can take a shot at building one, but I want to check what's out there first.

Cheap and effective is a captured tow hook release as used with RC gliders. How it’s activated is up to you.
