I have been asked to do some filming in Ecuador in April. I read that taking a drone into Ecuador can result in import fees, approaching the cost of the drone. I read elsewhere you can avoid the fees if you have proof you are in the country for work purposes. Can someone tell me the process I need to follow to avoid the fees and anything else I need to know about flying in Ecuador?
