Heart broken

No the shell bent and cracked unfortunately. The thing that really disturbed me was that set of props only had 18 hours on them. No sign of cracks when I put them on. Go figure
Regards

I thought the prop broke when it it the ground. Now I understand. It was the prop snapping that caused the crash.
No way to prevent that other than preflight inspection which you did.
On a side note, it’s a good example of why not to fly over people. You never know what could possibly happen.
That would tick me off too. When you do everything right and something happens at least you can’t blame yourself.

Since props are about $12 maybe you could replace them more often
Last time I crack the shell I think I got another one for about 60 bucks
Here is one on ebay for like 25.00:

If I recall I think I had to desolder some wires. There is a ton of vids on youtube for this.

My Phantom 3 4K was once attacked and knocked from flight by a Seagull. I was shooting sail boats on Mission Bay and gulls harassed my drone all the way back to the beach and one hit it and it crashed - fortunately only about 4 feet to the sand - no damage. Fortunately, no people were hit.
You can see them getting close in this video:
This video was shot with Mavic Pro and Phantom 3 4K and edited with Premiere.
