I have been flying DJI Drones since the Phantom 1. I have tried flying RC Airplanes without any luck and the there was the RC Helicopter. I built it and had the Dealer trim it up for me and I watched him fly it and it looked easy. He said to practice hovering. Brought it home made it hover a couple of times and then I hit one of the 8 switches on the RC. It looked like a Toro Lawn Mower coming at me. Threw the RC down and the dog and myself were on the run. The copter crashed into the ground. Packed everything up int the truck, took it to the local Hobby Shop and said sell this for me. My next attempt years later was the Phantom 1 and successful flights ever since.Great feeling and most enjoyable. I received my Part 107 March 2017 and started UAS Services, LLC here in RI. I practice flying at least once a week and I am developing my eye hand movements and building my confidence with my practice flights in a very large open field out in the countryside. Since receiving my License I have logged 300 flights at the time of this posting.
