Kind of reminds me of how our tax payer $$ were used to develop A123 battery technology, fund the construction of manufacturing facilities and employee salaries, only to see all of it sold to Chinese interests later.

Unfortunately, I believe you folks are probably correct. However, we can always hope that US manufacturers will make use of the technology first.
