Hi, crazy idea and I need advice.

I need effectively twice the zoom from my M210/Z30 setup and I was wondering if the new M300 could carry a Sony A6660 mirrorless camera with the Sony 200-600 lens, total weight is around 2750.

Any thoughts - I still need to identify a decent gimbal.

I can't imagine a any drone being stable enough for a 600mm lens or a 200mm for that matter. I know when I shoot telephoto I tripod all my telephoto lens and use a remote trigger. I'm sure some of the professional photographers on this forum can give you better insights.

Provided that your gimbal weight to sling the A6660 and lens is exactly the same as the stock or preferably less weight, you might be able to get away with it. The M300 MTOW is 19.84 lbs and the aircraft weight with the stock gimbal is 13.89 lbs. The camera/lens combo weighs in at 6.06 lbs. That puts you right at the limit for MTOW.
