I'm heading to Santa Cruz, CA this weekend and I'm thinking about taking my M2P.

I checked City of Santa Cruz ordinances, but didn't find anything under "drone" or "unmanned" (except for "9006 SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT. Small unmanned aircraft liable to start or cause fire shall not be possessed, flown, projected or caused to be projected into or across wildfire risk areas.") [my emphasis].

Does anyone have any knowledge of any other restrictions that I need to be aware of?

Thanks!

What part of SC are you going to.

1) Seagull warning on the Boardwalk. Those bastards are like Honey Badgers and will get close to the aircraft.

2) The Walton Lighthouse and Harbor are GTG areas to fly and is very nice. Just be respectful.

Here is what I did a few years ago for my son's science trip.

Nice... Perfect song for the vid, and I love Enya...

I'll be all over town...carrying the little guy by backpack to be ready to go at a moment's notice...thanks!
