However, at the time of your Flight Assessment, you MUST present an FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate dated within the previous 12 calendar months. Military flight physicals will be accepted for initial qualification determination, but an FAA 1st Class will be needed at the time of flight assessment. Applicants can apply with 750 total flight hours, but required to obtain at least 1,000 flight hours (depending on the number of flight hours approved via a waiver) at own expense before attending the 3-part Flight Assessment.
