PfCO sorted for another year

Happy to say that I received my renewed PfCO on Friday for another years legal flying.

I’m still amazed at how many stories I hear of people who ‘chance it’ and fly without insurance or CAA permission.

How long is it taking these days?

It was pretty quick, as I say it was a renewal rather than a new application, but even with a couple of amends it took less than a week.

I guess I should hear back soon then ...my renewal was submitted six days ago...

I wouldn’t have thought it’ll be long (assuming it’s a renewal rather than a new submission). Even with a couple of tweaks the process was pretty painless.

Since they switched to the online system last year it’s become so much easier/quicker.
