CDF has modified some of theirs and put turboprops on them, and I'm sure that makes a big difference. The Stuff was a four man aircraft, two pilots and Anti Sub techs. So when you stuck your head into the CDF S2 you didn't see all the avionics that had been packed into for finding submarines.
The worst thing about the Stuff was carrier launches, when the cat released you it felt like you kind of hit a wall and the darn thing was going to fall into the ocean, it wasn't fun.
They have replaced it with the S3 now, I understand that is pretty good plane.
