Hi Everyone,
Have been a member of phantompilots, inspirepilots, 3drilots and now here. Great to see an area for commercial discussion to take place.
While originally an operator from Australia, with the large increase in people with drones we have started to go in a different direction. With so much great content out there, we thought why not try and get it all in one place and from there we set up SkyStock. Stock images and videos from the air! - SkyStock.
How do we differ from other stock libraries? We are solely focused on aerial photos (and video in the future). We base our search on a location basis so users of the site can search for a particular location rather than a photo title. We are here to support the industry and offer leading commission rates (currently 75%) for our contributors.
Plans for the future? We are currently focused on Australia, however we welcome international content for future expansion. Our site is still very new and we admit not perfect. We are always working on improving things with feedback from our contributors. In 2018 we hope to introduce video uploads as well as an operator search function once our numbers increase.
We welcome new contributors so come and have a look. Could be a good opportunity to get your current photo library online to sell to your clients.
Thanks Tom
