It’s great for capturing indoor environments, complex structures, and areas where GPS-based solutions struggle like under trees or inside buildings. It can also be used for comprehensive site documentation, where it scans interiors and detailed ground level features, while your drone provides aerial context, but you will need software like Leica Cyclone, RealityCapture or CloudCompare to align LiDAR scans with aerial imagery.
