Artec licenses Leica hardware so the difference is the software. Leica's Cyclone Register 360 is for surveying workflows and Artec Studio is more for object modeling/meshing, so if you want it real-world relevant you are going to have to do that in another software.

I would recommend the Emlid RS3 hands down. It 1) costs less, 2) is a Surveying system and not just a base that can shoot a few points and 3) willl get you FAR better support. Smart move getting off cloud NTRIP.
