    When To Consider An Inspire?

I believe you should buy the best you can afford. That rule applies to all my other activities as well. The more experience you get, the more you realize what a piece of junk you bought, and you won't grow a boneyard of useless crap that is already obsolete and unsellable. I grew this outlook...

Popular Chinese-Made Drone Is Found to Have Security Weakness

I look at these foreign fear pieces with extreme skepticism. There's a constant stream like this that fade away. There's nothing your drone will provide that can't be accessed through your PC, cell phone, car computers, Google satellite, foreign sattelites, surveillance video systems. Go at...

Which tablet is best suited to fly M2P?

I kinda like the DJI Crystal sky (or view?) Super clear in direct sunlight, zero reflection or glare so no sunshade required. Compatible across board with DJI apps and payloads. I'm not saying I have one, I use an iPad to save money, but from what I've scene, I was impressed.

Hello Everyone! Northern IL. drone newb here. ???

Go Inspire2. So much fun to fly with many payload options and cameras that accept many standard camera lenses. Get it registered with FAA, insured, DJI Care Refresh if you can and have fun.

What Do You Charge For Travel?

It's not a one size fits all. In some industries, only highly skilled pilots with extremely expensive and rare equipment can do the job. You cannot just find these in every city or even state. I have to consider including airfare, shipping and lodging at the very least. My point: Not a simple...

    Timing doesn't synch with photos....

I have an unusual issue and haven't' found answer in searching. I have an M600P with a Sony X7R IV camera. I set the camera time to Pacific Zone with setup instructions. This camera is not GPS capable and incompatible with the GS PRO so I'm forced temporarily to attach a cell phone to the...

    RVNA drone insurance

I'm not aware of that one. One of the most common insurance companies used here is Global Aerospace, Joe Ernster. They specialize in aircraft of most sizes and are extremely straight up and responsive.

DJI Drones and magnetic and electrical fields from power lines?

When we did high voltage lines, nothing less than an Inspire1 was allowed. It and the Inspire2 performed well until we did 500KVA lines from a nuclear power plant. Nothing less than a Matrice 200 was capable. A 45mm lens was required to keep a safe distance and focus on the subject. If you're...

DJI GS PRO, Maps Made Easy.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I will certainly read it thoroughly. I did locate the pdf file of instructions and made some headway. The app sees my aircraft and the camera. When I manage to set a grid and get the take off enabled, it does not cooperate. But I'm still going through the pdf and...

DJI GS PRO, Maps Made Easy.

Yeah, I'm probably just pushing too hard or something simple. I got it to create 4 boundary points, but when I try to adjust them or move them around, it just moves the whole **** map like I'm searching the satellite image. I have gotten as far as creating a grid pattern over my property. The...

DJI GS PRO, Maps Made Easy.

Yes, I use an iPad on my aircraft. What I mean is when I have a satellite display of my location and start to outline a grid and move points, the the whole image moves with my dragging motion instead of drawing a line. I'm sure I'm making a dummy mistake, but it should be at least as easy as...

DJI GS PRO, Maps Made Easy.

Yes, I have used Pix4D and love it. What I am attempting is compatible with the camera which is disconnected from any aircraft input.

DJI GS PRO, Maps Made Easy.

Yeah, I made a little progress with map pilot. I already think it sucks cuz it's even difficult to create a flight grid. The display moves around when you try to create a grid. Gotta keep erasing over and ovet. The YouTube demo has someone going over it on an office pc. Not the same. Nothing...

DJI GS PRO, Maps Made Easy.

Ok, so I've searched threads for my answer to no avail, so here is my situation. I've had pretty good luck with DJI GS Pro. It's easy to plan missions, set all the settings and away it goes. All I have to do is change batteries when it lands itself. Now I've mounted a non DJI camera on my I2...
