Looking for a high nit phone or tablet, any suggestions? good battery life as well?

The only issue I've had with the TRIPLTEK Pro is the M2 remote charges the tablet. I can only fly one battery before the remote's battery is depleted. TRIPLTEK is supposed to be making a cable to fix this. In the meantime , I'll use my iPad Mini 4.

    General Needs in Energy

And it has! I retired back in June, so I have no idea who would be the point of contact. I was talking to a friend of mine that still works at TVA, he said he saw some drones training at the Hollywood, AL training facility but didn't ask them who they worked for. I asked him to see if he could...

New bill would give “ownership” of airspace up to 200 ft to property owners.

We really need to stop this bill. Every SAR mission I've flown thus far would have been totally useless if I had to stay above 200 feet. From that height, it's highly unlikely you'd be able to see anything.

Thermal drone helps find missing 6 year old boy

Or it could be the policy of the agency the drone pilot was flying for. I know that it's against squad policy to share anything related to any calls we're bumped out on. That includes video, stills and all information. If we're asked, we refer everyone to the PIO.

Thermal drone helps find missing 6 year old boy

I'd like to at least know what the drone and camera was.

    General Needs in Energy

I think you have my post confused with Nitz, I didn't mention any companies, so not sure what it is I said that you disagree with.. The only power company I'm familiar with is TVA, they do all their power line inspections in house with helicopters. Last time I talked to the guy over those...

    Cell Towers-What equipment r u using?

I think @FloridaDroneSupply requires a 20 mega pixel camera for their pilots, either a Phantom 4 Pro/Advanced or Mavic 2 Pro.

    Florida Drone Supply

Is Florida Drone Supply still around? I've sent them several PMs the last couple of weeks with questions and gotten no response. Maybe took an extended break for the holidays?

    Renewing Part 107 Remote Pilot?

I plan to renew mine. Some of the photos I take I submit to a couple stock photo sites and the really good ones to fineartamerica.com. You'll never get rich selling stock photos, but it gets me a cup of coffee every few months. ;) Plus I'm on a rescue squad and need it to fly for that too.

    Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual

There's a new video today showing how well it works at 120' AGL with the target under a dense tree canopy. The target is just a red blob but more than enough to send a ground team to it. I think it's a perfect solution for a squad that has very little money. Shoot, some months we can barely pay...

Seek CompactPro Thermal Camera + Drone

The new Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual looks like it might be interesting. I'd like to see if you could tell there's something like a child under a tree from 150' AGL. Image quality doesn't have to be any more than a red blob to tell something was there and send a ground team to look.

    Anyone Good With Twitter?

There are actually folks out there making a living telling people how to increase their rankings with social media and search engines. One of my brother-in-laws brothers does it.
