    FAA Remote ID Proposal

Anyone have any insight on what exactly this entails? It seems to me like this is going to be used for rule enforcement, right? Lastly, anybody have info on how this may work? The FAA web-page is vague in this regard. https://www.faa.gov/uas/research_development/remote_id/

Need advice: Possible drone flight off of an airboat

Thank you for the recommendations. Me and one other pilot will try to practice hand launch/land at some point tomorrow, since a few of you have suggested it. Hopefully we get comfortable with it so we can put it to the test during a real mission.

Need advice: Possible drone flight off of an airboat

    First drone crash

What sort of elevation finder are you referring to? Like a range finder (golf/hunting) or something else? I think this is a great idea and would like to look into this further to see what sort of devices are out there.

What are COAs and their uses?

Thank you for the replies! I have a lot to evaluate before we make a final decision. It may end up being that all we need is a waiver or two.

What are COAs and their uses?

Hello, I am part 107 certified and a part of a drone program with my state agency. I recently heard about COAs, but am not familiar with what applications they are used for. Can anyone describe what they are and would a part 107 pilot ever have the need for one? Thanks

    Hello from coastal Louisiana!

Thank you for the suggestion! It is probably best that I be a part of both!

    Hello from coastal Louisiana!

We are in the process of developing a drone program for the State of Louisiana! We look forward to learning more about commercial operations/applications for our Mavic 2 Pro.
