I need to show by video and still shots whether the ball goes over the center or sides of home plate. There will be no batter or catcher so flying over people isn't an issue. I would like to play the video in slow motion, so how do I get a crisp shot of moving ball in both photo and video?

I need to video and photograph a pitched baseball going over home plate. The view needs to be straight down to show which part of home plate the ball passes over. Any suggestions how to do this and what camera settings to try? Wont be any really fast pitches.

I did take the Gold Seal Night Operations class, it was excellent. I applied without that and got rejected, now I am APPROVED. Thanks to everyone for all the help, and thanks to Gold Seal. I was a little skeptical about paying for an online course but I learned a lot and it helped get the waiver.

Did you get approved to fly at night? I finally submitted the additional information they asked for, it is now a 5 page document. :( I guess they don't assume we all now that we find other aircraft by looking t them and that we get out of the way when they are near us. There has got to be a...
