Cleanest coal fired power station in Europe

Ratcliffe-on-Soar. She uses Parsons turbines and English Electric rugby generators. The after treatment scrubbers produce gypsum as a by-product for making wall boarding for houses. Due to be decommissioned in 2022 but given a stay of execution until 2024. The machinery has been sold to the...

    Heritage bridge

The swingbridge we are working on, this time just as dawn was breaking and the low sun just started to illuminate the tower and the bridgeman's house.

    Sir Peter Scott's lighthouse

I don't have photoshop! I did have lightroom, bought and paid for outright, but Adobe, being pirates or pikies or some other lowlife, decided to remove the validity of my product key and shut my copy down - it was on a CD originally. I paid quite a lot of money for it too. So, having shown their...

That is kind of you to say. Thank you.

    High Winds No Problem

Thank you for taking the trouble to explain. My thoughts though are that to obtain them is a lot of work for no additional revenue. The difference good sound effects make is marked, the visuals can be spoiled by poor sound or none at all. I did make an attempt at a bike meeting at the pub one...

Que? What do you mean by Foley effects please? I have not heard of that term before.

    Water tower demolition

I understand the FLYING aspects, but that does not guarantee a PHOTOGRAPHIC success. You can have the all the FAA (CAA over here) tickets in Christendom, that will not guarantee good photography, it will mean you fly within the law, but as for the results..... BUT I HAVE A DRONE QUALIFICATION...

    Sir Peter Scott's lighthouse

To be fair, if I was being critical, it is a 50-50 horizon, which is never the best.... I much prefer a 30% horizon either way, but I failed to notice and I have flagellated myself with both birch twigs and stinging nettles in penance.

    High Winds No Problem

That's interesting. I suppose it depends upon the direction of wind and angle of the light/subject. Something for the rest of us to be aware of. Thanks for the heads up!

    Sir Peter Scott's lighthouse

Up early this morning. To scratch an itch. My editing sucks because I don't really understand how to drive a confuser! I am sure someone who understands layers and masking and stuff (I have watched hundreds of hours of tutorials but I cannot get my head around it) could make a much better breast...

There are rubbish lawyers too, even though they have letters after their name.....

Just far too much faff for a few dollars more!

    High Winds No Problem

I was thinking of audio to suit the subject. So fo instance a film of a horse and cart going up the road - you would want panting breath of the horse, hooves clip-clopping, the squeak of springs and the rumble of wheels... for instance. Possibly the crack of a whip too.

    Water tower demolition

Hardly the same as taken pictures though, is it?
