    Where is Dronebase?!

No, you shouldn't see a map. There used to be one, but they made some slight changes to their model recently so all those 'spec' missions that you could select from a map of your area are gone....there are apparently no 'pano' missions either. Instead, their just handing out regular RE missions...

Anyone ever offer "Drone Flying" at events?

I'd suggest investing in one of those safety cages that you see at 'InterDrone' and other events that they use to demo drones indoors.Seems to me that you might be asking for trouble letting any novice fly a drone for the first time without spending considerable training time up front, which...

    Be Careful With Facebook

I have a FB product page registered under my company's name and a personal page that's not. On that personal page, I've engaged in many political debates, some resulting in a good deal of acrimony. I've never had problems from FB. Bottom line...this feels like a cautionary tail with this note...

    Where is Dronebase?!

A little of both. Someone mentioned earlier that the insurance jobs shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes. That's probably true, but for safety reasons, I tend not to rush things, so I'd say more like 45-mins. Add 1-hr 20-min round trip if there's no traffic and another 20-30 to upload...$70...

    Where is Dronebase?!

I should have mentioned that I was onboard with them from the start. The pay quoted was almost a year and a half ago or more and more $30 than $50. I haven't done a pano in more than a year. It appears they adjusted the rates before discontinuing them.

    Where is Dronebase?!

I was getting about $30-50 for panos but only did about 4-6 before I moved to client missions. Even with CM's, if I have to drive an hour or more, it's generally not worth it although some CM have paid enough to drive a couple of hours round trip. Almost all of the insurance jobs sent my way...

    Where is Dronebase?!

They've also added these new Insurance missions (Eaglebase) However, they generally pay about $70 for a mission that requires about 60-70 stills and a lot of special rules and requirements. I don't have a problem with the scope of the job, but the time and effort to meet all the requirements and...
