    iPad or iPad Air?

I didn't get a chance to test it on Friday, but I did try the new ipad air on a job today, and was glad I brought my ipad 9th gen with me just in case...because I couldn't get the m2p connected to the new ipad. Thankfully I got the job done just fine with the ipad, then did some troubleshooting...

    iPad or iPad Air?

I bought that ipad air 5th gen yesterday. I transferred all my apps/settings from my ipad last night, and plan to begin testing it at lunchtime today. :)

    iPad or iPad Air?

Thanks; it does indeed look like an upgrade (except it's not any brighter). Checking the supported devices list is a great idea!

    iPad or iPad Air?

I posted this over in the mavicpilots forum but haven't gotten a reply yet; figured I'd try here too. :) I'm currently using a 9th gen iPad to fly with. Unfortunately, it's "only" a 32Gb version, and I keep running out of space...which slows down the 3 apps I fly with (Go4, DD, Litchi). So I'm...

    Advice for large Photogrammetry Job

Thanks for the Reality Capture suggestion; I just tried it out on a couple orthos. Takes up less system resources than WebODM / docker desktop, and the initial results look great!

[SOLVED] WTB Mavic 2 Pro battery charger

As stated, I'm looking for a good 5-in-1 or 6-in-1 charger for Mavic 2 Pro batteries. Requirements are that each circuit charges up to 17.5v/4.5a. Hit me up if you have one you'd be willing to sell me! Thanks!

Usefullness of Orthos in a CAD program?

Hey all; thanks for the feedback! I didn't mean to cause any concern or mini-heart attacks; my apologies. I already knew before asking the question(s) that I'm NOT ever going to provide - or even pretend to provide - surveys, or survey-grade info to a client, and what a mess that could turn...

Usefullness of Orthos in a CAD program?

Hey all...it's been a minute since I've been around. :-) I'm continuing (finally, now that it's stopped raining!) to do orthos and panos for a 35-ish acre job site. I've heard for many years that overlaying an ortho into the cad representation of a site is the bees knees; many many benefits...

    National Park Service Drone Shoot

I'm just seeing this (haven't visited this site in a while!); this is awesome, for several reasons! Question: how did this opportunity happen? Did you contact them, or did they contact you? Or something else entirely?

How do you charge for filming cinematic footage?

Not discounting all the other replies here; I like them too! But I do admit that I'm curious about this approach; I've seen it mentioned several times but I've not found as thorough or simple and explanation as yours, @skiptv, so thank you for this! A few questions: - I'm guessing the flat...

    LAANC issues

I needed manual for a zero grid last weekend and used Aloft. Got an email 2 days later saying the request was canceled due to no reply from ATC. I let the potential client know, and they hired somebody else. No doubt they now have illegally obtained aerial data. May the fleas of a thousand...

State Commercial Operations Fees - Anyone Else?

I've not heard of a state requiring you to register the drone with them...doesn't sound right; you should do some research on that. My city requires all businesses to register with them, and annually sends out a long and scary document that you have to fill out, declaring the value of every...

    Photos to find property boundary

Does that mean that every map that DroneDeploy has ever made which was provided by a non-licensed surveyor is then subject to litigation?
