FAA requires remote pilot retests

Remote pilots will have to take another test to renew their certificates, the first of which expire in August. The FAA has updated the airman certification standards for various certificate types, including those issued under Part 107.

If your a part 61 certificate holder as in Private Pilot and a part 107 certificate holder you don't have to take the test at the CAT center as long as your part 61 certificate is current (BFR) your part 107 is current.
