This sounds interesting, but $6K for the drone, $5K for one camera, $7-29K for the 360 camera, $100 for the frequency meter and $60 for the Osha Certification is quite a buy-in...without any info about the payback. It wouldn't hurt to add a few words about that.

You didn't mention reliable transportation, fuel and upkeep for a lot of travel, insurance, sleeping and eating accommodation, willingness and ability to be away from home for stretches of time, etc.

While this can be an opportunity for the right individual, all risk and commitment (time and $$) is carried by the would be sub contractor.

Really, all in all, it is about a $15k investment to start a business that should pay that back and cover expenses in the first month of full operation. In some cases, that is too much risk, and we totally understand that. If you would like to go over the numbers and learn more, feel free to reach out. The opportunity is not for everyone, but we have sites that need to be scanned ASAP, and we would like to hire those with the equipment and who are willing to work.

Agree, the average road/equipment expenses for a full-time pilot cost about 1 site per day. However, we would expect you to visit at least three sites per day, and few have reached 10 per day. I would ballpark the average to be around 4-5 per day, which makes it a good ROI if you can handle the lifestyle, but you're correct, and it is not for everyone. If you would like to discuss it more, please reach out to me, and we can go over the numbers.
