DJI's new Enterprise sUAS - Matrice 300

When I go to the DJI WEB STORE and look up M600P it goes straight to the M600P page, still there for $5,399. and batteries are still available. Don't see "Not Available in your country notice. "

I'll be visiting my DJI Enterprise dealer next week. I'll ask (1) has DJI stopped M600P production? and (2) how difficult will IT be to get parts over, say next three years?

Yup still shows in Canada.

Not in my view of DJI Store Web Page... it does show in DJI normal pages, but when I select Buy... the store section is as described. Dead product.
Be curious what your Dealer has to report... if it's available... is Lightbridge kits available?

Add on Edit... Stated the LightBridge 2 states "Not Available", not the M600Pro. The M600Pro is available, but just running Inventory down. When all the other main components are drying up... that's an indicator. If your LB2 radio or module goes out... it's no longer listed, nor 3rd Party (Adorama), they too showing discontinued. The A3Pro modules are drying up too.

Just my 2-cent opinion: Why is price... at least close estimate not available. It'll eventually be known, direct or indirectly. The XT2, M210 all don't list price but the normal price is known without a quote.

I suspect they do that to force us to call a sales person (that can hopefully close the deal) to find pricing.

We've had M600 Pro inventory and all accessories and parts still coming in regularly. That will likely change within the next year as the M600 series just had its 4 year anniversary since release.

Commercial systems are higher touch systems so the primary objective is to ensure the end users' needs are fully understood and they have the opportunity to consult with a specialist as equipment relates to their specific use application. In addition it allows for another layer of pre-screening of any potential users that should not be permitted to get their hands on commercial and ITAR export controlled sensors that are prohibited in some countries.

You've had inventory... it is still in production or old stock?
I'd agree, in this technology 4 years does indicate it's EOL.
Thanks for the update, appreciated.

Everything that came in had January and February 2020 QC&A stamps on it, but that's not uncommon to be receiving inventory that was produced a couple months back in product lines that are lesser volume. No official EOL or indication of one yet...

Agree... consulting may be helpful with some, in prosumer & consumer markets. The prevention of "wrong hands" on this type of product would be nearly impossible to prevent. Last time I checked, background or clearance checks weren't part of purchasing DJI products. Especially when one can request a quote, purchase and receive product sight unseen.

That's actually a pleasant surprise... although I'm seeing associated products diminish.

Matrice 300
Our org had just priced out a new M210 with several options like the XT2 and a drop mechanism and was just about to approve the purchase when COVID hit. I think we were about the $25k mark on what that was all going to cost. I know we are still in the market and this will still happen but now that the M300 has been announced I'm wondering if the price point is anywhere near what we were prepared to spend.

And secondly, if it isn't and we still decide to go the M210 direction, how much will the price have dropped on that older tech now that the newer is out??

This is what I heard; about 9k for the bird with a controller, 1200 for the charger, 11k for the H20T and 1400 for a single set of batteries. Probably 1k or more for a second controller.

Check with your dealer. Don't expect prices to lower on the Matrice 210 series for a while, they are still strong sellers.

It's certainly worth putting the M300RTK and H30T on the table. We've been very impressed by the H30T and the new "smart" functions added in the 300 series. The fact that the H30T essentially combines the XT2 and Z30 into one payload, it frees up the second gimbal port for the Z15 spotlight. In turn, you've got 4 extremely valuable tools on one UAS platform...Optical Zoom, 640 Thermal, Laser Rangefinder, 10,000 lumen spotlight, and don't forget standard 20 MP/4K visual.

The Matrice 200 series will likely not see any pricing changes for quite some time. As @LUIS MARTINEZ mentioned, they remain a strong platform.

@miturnbo You're definitely not the only one in this situation, we've been seeing many agencies with M210 procurements in a standstill come back to the drawing board to look at the M300RTK/H20T option.

We're not permitted to post pricing publicly (per DJI policy) on the primary components (airframes and payloads), however I can confirm what you've listed here is just about right on, despite a small bit of rounding up ;) Below is pricing on accessories/ancillary components.

DJI Matrice 300 TB60 Intelligent Flight Battery: $700 (qty: 2 required for pair)
DJI Matrice 300 BS60 Intelligent Battery Station: $1,200 (option to purchase with or without aircraft kit, but the battery station is the only way to charge TB60 batteries, so you'll need one)
DJI Matrice 300 Smart Controller Enterprise: $1,250 (one RC comes with aircraft kit)

Not bad, considering what people are paying for M210 packages.

Wow.. I certainly hope this is the case Luis. That seems very on par with what we would be looking for. We would only need to add a drop mechanism to the package.

Which is a good question here. If you have a drop mechanism and use that for floatation devices to water rescue victims or a first aid kit, how does the 360 sensors interact with something like that? I'm assuming it would mean disabling some sensors.

Correct, depending on the payload you will likely need to turn off the downward sensors so your ThrowRaft or other SAR payloads are affecting the sensors as the payload blows around and moves inflight. Our go-to payload drop mechanism that we've always used on the M200 series is being configured for the M300 series as we speak.
