I've been noticing over the past couple of years that football teams are using drones to review footage with after the games. Usually both teams will have a drone in the air, will fly them over the teams, cheerleaders, and whoever is near the field and take off and land near people next to the field. I saw an incident last year where the operator (a kid) caused one of the trainers on the side of the field to have to duck to avoid getting hit by one. Are you all noticing a similar trend in your respective areas? Seems to me like a great training/informational opportunity for the FAA and school systems.

It's well known that drone presence is going to increase across anything that can be considered interesting and entertaining. The actions you mention need to be investigated immediately. If they do not have Part 107 certifications and are not using Class 1 drones that fully comply with OOP then it needs to be reported. The incident of being in such close proximity to a person that it was hazardous needs to be reported regardless.
