Interesting read. But if all the FlyMotion system can do is detect DJI aircraft, then how effective is the system? The bias in the paper is that FlyMotion has a vested interest in selling its system to the powers that be. It does not invalidate the study but it does skew the information potentially in that direction. I'll admit that on paper, the system has potential but there needs to be a lot more testing vs. all unmanned aircraft in order for it to be actually useful.
