My personal plan is to switch over to pix4d capture in the short term and circle back around once in a while to see if DD has sorted out their mess or not.

Have you given Map Pilot a try yet? They have a free version that you can add to if it works for you. Their GUI is a little plain, but they actually place more effort on making the app work well. The Support forum is run by one of the developers and not a marketing/customer service employee.

I like DD too. But I have an older, working version. The new problems are a non-starter for me.
