Flying in a National Park

There is a built-in mapping ap on this unit. I've not used it for mapping as of yet though.

I was referring to the drone control app taking the images, is that included or is it 3rd party?
One option for commercial/public operators who want to avoid DJI issues (or who want to pursue US government contracts and are, therefor, obliged to avoid DJI software) is the Yuneec H520-G (G for "government") which is a joint Yuneec/3DR venture utilizing Dronecode PX4 open source operating system and built to work with 3DR's Site Scan mapping software (which offers operators some unique advantages over DJI for 3D and 3D/thermal mapping.)

And for centimeter-grade mapping one can also utilize the 3DR/Trimble GCP RTK-positioning system, which combines the 3DR GCP Android app with the prosumer (think hundreds of US$ rather than thousands) Trimble Catalyst antenna.

Of course, for mapping the DJI P4P/P4A camera does have an edge just now due to its Universal shutter. But Yuneec/3DR/Trimble/Intel are certainly working hard to offer a competitive alternative.

We're currently utilizing the DJI Mavic Pro and P4A. But, as we prepare to expand operations into IR/thermal in the new year, the H520 (and particularly the h520-G) are looking very appealing.

Oh, one other note: the Yuneec H520-G is actually assembled (and the Dronecode PX4 installed) in the US. 3DR even utilizes a different controller than the Chinese-assembled Yuneec models.
