Hello everyone! I am grateful to be a part of this forum and am anxious to learn and contribute.
I started flying drones as a hobby about 5 years ago with the original Phantom and a GoPro 3. Two years ago I decided that I wanted to take my hobby a step forward and decided to try and make a business out of it. Before part 107 came along I applied for a 333 exemption and went to flight school for my ppl. (Didn't want to pay someone else to fly my toys )
So after spending close to $12,000 on school, part 107 was introduced! I could have saved $11, 850 dollars had I waited. Lol. Naw, I'm glad that I did it because it helped me subjugate my fear of flying.
So today I own an Inspire 2 x5s and a Mavic Pro abalone with an Osmo and a Nikon D5500. I mainly do real estate work for now but I am trying to learn other things as well like mapping and inspection.
Because drones, I have gotten into photography and I am trying to learn everything I can. I am now extremely passionate about the art and look forward to getting better.
