The 8th Habit is a little more work. It restates and refreshes the 7 habits, and for awhile I wondered when he was going to get to the point. And it is a call to action that not everyone is ready to take on.
It's important to note that there is a huge self-improvement industry, and there are thousands of books and guides. Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" is another eye-opener. And it should be noted that all of these 'recent' publications have their roots in ancient philosophies, cultural movements, even martial arts. Like I said somewhere before, there's nothing new under the sun.
