Leica RTC 360 vs Artec Ray 2

Hi all, I’m relatively new to this

I’m preparing for a project involving the documentation of historical military structures across a fairly complex site - a mix of open areas, forest, and some interior spaces. I’ve been considering the Leica RTC360, but I also came across the Artec Ray 2 (Ray II) and am trying to decide which would be more suitable for this kind of hybrid environment.

Has anyone here used both or compared them in similar conditions? Would be great to hear your experiences

Artec licenses Leica hardware so the difference is the software. Leica's Cyclone Register 360 is for surveying workflows and Artec Studio is more for object modeling/meshing, so if you want it real-world relevant you are going to have to do that in another software.
