M210, another issue?

That's a lot of money falling out of the sky, I think a parachute would be a good investment.

The argument to that is that the issue DJI are facing especially this the article is like buying a new car and you pay extra for seatbelts.

If having a chute is a solution then DJI should have one built in.

Also from the article, "... issue may lie with one of the airframe’s motors...", this is why a M600 pro is a better as it has a redundant propulsion.

Passed this article along to Jon M. @ RMUS.

Interesting note he noted is that DJI manufactures different variations of the M200 series based on geographic locations. ie. UK, USA, and China.

You don't think you pay for that seat belt, you pay for everything on that car. Why would DJI install parachutes if it isn't demanded by government regulations? My first car, had no seat belts, didn't come with them, no air bags, emission control, or any other safety features, because big brother didn't require them in the early 60s.

We purchased one of the first M210RTK to hit the shelf. We have a relationship with 3DR, we've purchased all of our fleet through them, and use Site Scan exclusively. We've been in touch with them several times as each one of these articles comes up. They tell us that they haven't had a report of failure yet and to make sure we keep the drone and batteries updated. There could be something to that idea of where they were produced.
