Matrice 210 V.2. Battery Compatibility

Hi all,
Since I live in Australia I cannot travel on commercial aircrafts with my TB55's which is a real pain in the ****. So my question is has anyone used the TB50's in the new Matrice 210 V.2.?

That's not a particularly Australian issue.
All airlines base their dangerous goods rules on the IATA guidelines:

Okay, that's great. So my question is has anyone used the TB50's in the new Matrice 210 V.2.?

Negative...TB50s don't work with M210 V2, only TB55s.
You can ship TB55 batteries internationally, it just takes proper planning...we just shipped 30 TB55s internationally....proper markings/labels, etc.

Thanks for your reply and info regarding batteries and the 210 V2. Why would DJI make the TB50's incompatible??? It beggars belief!!

Same reason the Phantoms and Inspires don’t use the same batteries for the model type...$$...lots of $$$.

The people that bought in to the “smart battery” thing were suckers. What they bought into was a long term cash cow for the manufacturer. A manufacturer that made good use of an advanced marketing team that effectively convinced the buyers they needed something completely unnecessary that would later cost them a fortune.
