I passed the part 107 test March 1st, and will be the assistant/backup drone operator for the sheriff's office. We are a smaller department with 8 deputies so we pretty much do it all.
We had some good grants (oil money), so we have two Mavic 2 Enterprise Advance drones. I used to be in the RC airplane and car scene back in the 90s, flying a drone doesn't feel all too foreign. It's all the technology stuff that will do me in.
Anyways I am gonna sit back and and soak in some knowledge. Thank you all for having me.
