Greetings-
I am a Solo owner, Part 107 holder, and currently working in the aviation industry. I just recently completed a masters degree in unmanned systems. It seems school gave me a lot of theoretical knowledge, but not a whole lot of practical knowledge. I try to fly my Solo as I can, but being in NOVA is a little hard with the SFRA and not to mention Bravo airspace.
I have some thoughts about small projects to get more involved in the commercial aspect of the UAS field, but sometimes having a full time job and family can be tricky in finding time. I'm hoping to get more involve this year now that school is over.
