Skyvector and notams

Does skyvector show notams in real time, similar to the drotums?

I have seen it take from a few minutes to a half hour.

It can, based on your account settings. Flight Service at 1-800-WX-BRIEF is generally my favorite option, because their information will be most current.

It's not REAL TIME as it takes a few minutes to be approved and then populate but it's "fairly" real-time. For the most up to date so as suggested above and reach out to Flight Service at 1-800-WX-BRIEF.

When I get a clearance (or approval) for an area I'll try to submit the NOTAM a minimum of three hours in advance. Many times though it isn't required or even wanted.

I was under the impression the FAA wants NOTAMs to be submitted no less than 24 hours before the flight.

You are correct, that's what they want, they don't always get what they want.
